Cleopatra Halloween Costume
Gold lame makes the collar, the arm bands, the head band and the belt.
For each piece lay the two pieces of lame right sides together and the batting on top of that. Then sew.
Add jewels -- and do some sewing machine quilting.
The sheath dress is made of white satin, folded over with a neck cut .
The head piece is a piece of elastic covered in lame. The snake head is a bit of batting wrapped around gold lame with 14 gauge sife folded over and inserted. Two small red jewels make thee eyes.
The belt is made of a medallion circle with an elongated triangle hanging down. It is quilted with very low loft batting.
The dress is made of one piece of fabric and draped with a swooping open back.
