In April of 2010 the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimated that nearly 2 million Americans contract infections in the hospital every year, and that about 99,000 of those infections are fatal. Treating these infections costs government programs and insurers between $36 million and $45 billion, according to the agency.

Jack was made from a paper mache ball ... just like Moishe. See Moishe for instructions.
He was painted white. Model clay was used to give dimensions.
Jack's bat bow tie was made from modeling clay as well. Pipe cleaners were added into the clay while wet.
The bat was painted black, his teeth white and his eyes red. Velcro was attached to the back of the bat bow tie.
