Dangers of Yaz, Yasmin, Gianvi and Ocella
Hospital Acquired Infection Survival Guide
Chemical Environment
In April of 2010 the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimated that nearly 2 million Americans contract infections in the hospital every year, and that about 99,000 of those infections are fatal. Treating these infections costs government programs and insurers between $36 million and $45 billion, according to the agency.
Read the Hospital Survival Guide above and browse through these postings for suggestions to enhance your ability to protect your loved one during a hospital stay.
It really is up to you. To be a responsible member of society, to protect yourself and your family. This means it is your obligation on behalf of your family to be aware of the potential dangers and take precaution. Life is fragile.

How to Make a Tutu Seminar.
Leading Designers in the Industry.
See new section on "Fabric and Trim Resources" above with more to come on closures, stays and horsehair resources. I will continue to add images of the stores as time permits. The NYC stores have images currently.
After ten years I have decided to advertise on this site. All revenue is used to care for stray dogs and cats. When families lose their homes, so do pets.
Calling all readers. Please help me to build the largest resource of FREE tutu materials and instruction materials there exists.
Parents of dancers, who pay for dance lessons and all the associated costs are often without resources for expensive patterns and instruction books.
I am asking you to help me build a site of free information for readers. Please contact me if you can share your patterns, your tips, your instructions.
Put a STOP to overpriced second rate instructions for sale on the internet.
I agree with Creative Commons: Information Wants to BE FREE.
I offer this site with no advertisement. Your help to stop over priced -- under valued sale of tutu construction information would be appreciated.

Wow! You've really invested a lot of time in building this site. You deserve a gold medal!!! I am so delighted to FINALLY discover a site on sewing and designing tutus other than the ever-so abundant "tie-a" and "no-sew tutu instructions for free" and some of those same sites who are actually CHARGING people for those instructions!!! I respect the fact that you are willing to share your resourcefulness from one dance parent to another just trying to save a dime so we can pay for another dance class AND adorn our children in quality, handmade, custom dance attire while we're all getting educated in some fashion at the same time. whew. That was a mouthful. I can't say enough! There is just a ton of quality info here. While I'm specifically looking for spandex to make everyday / casual tutus on a whim, I know there will be a time in the future I'll find myself either making the real thing (performance style tutu) or hiring someone else to do it. I would certainly like to hang-out here and digest it all but unfortunately I will have to come back. I am totally enjoying the historical and artistic aspects of this site and also particularly interested in the "psychological profile of a dancer" information you've collected.
I was clueless until my daughter tried out for the Nutcracker last year with the Pine Belt Ballet in Hattiesburg, MS. Once we became totally absorbed, I learned just a few, very interesting things about her dance teachers. One who is 91yo, still going strong, and in my opinion has and is STILL making a remarkable contribution to the art and training of quality dancers not only through his own endeavors but also through the remarkable woman (who trained under him) and brought the PBB to life and devoted much of her life and passion to promoting the art and training of outstanding dancers. Soooo, they (just like you) have impacted not only their students but also the parents who come into this without previous knowledge and appreciation for the art of ballet. I feel we have been so very privileged to have the 2 of them be part of or lives
Your site is awesome! Thanks for the time and energy you invested in gathering the information and building this site. Kudos!!!! I will certainly be back :0)
And OOOOOO M. G., your "Alice" costumes are magnificently FLAWLESS!!!
This has just made my day :0), :0), :0)
Thank you again,
